Sitting on the edge of the New Forest, Somerly is the home of the sixth Earl Normanton and his family. The estate consists of 7,000 acres of meadows, woods and rolling parkland.
Designed by Samuel Wyatt in the mid-1700s, the house became the property of the Normanton family in 1825 and has remained in the same family throughout the years. Housing a magnificent art and porcelain collection, the house itself, albeit impressively splendid, still retains the warmth and character of a family home. |
